PURPOSE:To perform accurate positioning, by jointing the shaft of a roll which is in contact with a cam driven by a pulse motor eccentrically to an end part of a screw which engages a carriage threadably, and rotating the screw for fine adjustment of the position of the roll. CONSTITUTION:The roll 15 supported pivotally on the carriage 11 through the screw 45 in a free rotating state rotates in contact with the peripheral of a gear associated operatively with a magnetic disk shown in the figure as the carriage 11 moves. The projecting part 15a of the roll 15 is jointed eccentrically to the screw 45. The groove of the screw 45 is rotated with a screwdriver to adjust the roll 15 finely within a range of distance delta and then the roll is fixed in the hole 11a of the carriage 11 with a lock nut 46. Thus, the relative positions of the magnetic head and disk are fixed accurately and tracking is perfomred correctly. |
