PURPOSE:To eliminate the useless queuing for revolution of a magnetic disk, by storing the detected error information and producing the correction information on a data error when the reading of data is all over. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic disk processor 150 drives a data transfer circuit 120 to read data out of a magnetic disk device and transfers the data to a main storage device through a line 220. This data is also fed to a detecting circuit 130. If an error is detected when the reading is over with data of a block, the processor 150 stores error data in an error information storing circuit 140. When the reading is all over with data, the processor 150 extracts successively the error information out of the circuit 140 through a line 240. Then the correction information is produced based on the error information and sent to a CPU via a line 250 to correct the data of the main storage device. At the same time, the circuit 120 is driven for a direct correction of the data of the main storage device. |
