PURPOSE:To perform highly accurate measurement with a compact construction and also, to perform easily the absolute quantity measurement of a liquid, by bringing into contact slidingly a contact which is provided to a float with a resistor and detecting electrically a liquid level by the variation of the position of the contact accompanied by the movement of the float. CONSTITUTION:A float 11 moving with a liquid surface 10A of a liquid 10 which is taken in a tank 10, is provided with a resistor 8 in a body and a contact 12 is contacted slidingly. The fluctuation of the surface 10A is fetched out as the variation of an electric signal because the float 11, consequently the contact 12, is moved contacting slidingly in accordance with the position of the surface 10A of the liquid 10, i.e. the liquid level. |
