PURPOSE:To hold securely a magnetic disk and a magnetic head in contact and to prevent errors in recording and reproduction, by allowing the head to press a surface of the disk strongly into a mountain section shape when the disk cassette is loaded. CONSTITUTION:A pad 77 and the magnetic haed 14 are inserted from through- holes 81a and 82b of cassette halves 81 and 82 to clamp the magnetic recording disk 87. The magnetic head 14 projects more than the disk surface A by distance delta and the disk 87 is rotated so that its section is in the mountain shape. Thus, the magnetic head 14 and magnetic disk 87 are held in contact securely and recording and reproduction are carried out accurately. |
