PURPOSE:To enable the measurement of rainfall in a reduced error, by a method wherein a max. water storage amount is stored and rainfall data is calculated on the basis of said max. rainfall amount to subject reduced water due to evaporation to data correction. CONSTITUTION:The amount of water in a water storage part 10 is measured by the measuring circuit 20 in a data treating part 2 on the basis of the water pressure information from the sensor 12 of a measuring part 1 and the measured value A is stored by a memory circuit 21 while the accumulated water storage amount B measured at the previous measuring time is stored in a memory circuit 22 and the measured values A, B are supplied to a comparison circuit 23. When A is larger than B, the difference thereof is stored by a circuit 24 and, when A is equal to or smaller than B, a value 0 is stored by the circuit 24. A circuit 25 always stores the max. value of the accumulated water storage amount measured until the previous time and 26 circuit adds the max. value of the accumulated water storage amount and the output value of the circuit 24. A synthesized circuit 29 adds the added value and the water discharge amount in a memory circuit 28 to obtain lately measured rainfall data and, when the water discharge amount is 0, the added value turns to the desired rainfall data. |
