PURPOSE:To obtain an A/D converting circuit capable of realizing high bit and low cost, by reducing remarkably the number of elements to miniaturize the chip size at circuit integration. CONSTITUTION:Six switch elements are respectively required for analog multiplexers 34, 35, 40 in constituting the analog multiplexers 34, 35, 40 at the same state as the circuit as shown in a figure A in the A/D converting circuit. Thus, the total number of switch elements required for the three analog multiplexers 34, 35, 40 is 18. This number is reduced remarkably in comparison with the number (30) required for a conventional circuit in 4-bit. The chip size is reduced less than the conventional circuit in integrating the circuit, allowing to realize high bit and low cost. |
