PURPOSE:To improve the damping characteristic of a superconductive generator by connecting a switch in parallel with a series resistor which is provided in the field circuit of the generator and controlling the switch in response to the electric power fluctuation. CONSTITUTION:A superconductive generator 2 which is interlocked to a system 1 has a series resistor 3 in a field circuit. A controller 5 opens a switch 4 when the speed of the generator 2 detected by a speed detector 6 is positively detected as compared with the normal value, the resistor 3 is inserted into the field circuit, and when the speed deviation 7 becomes negative, the switch 4 is closed to shortcircuit the resistor 3. In this manner, the damping of the generator can be improved. |
