PURPOSE:To make it possible to automatically determine an accurate located distance without carrying out properly required adjustment, by a method wherein the transmission delay time of a signal transmission line is measured and the error of a distance generated from the delay times of a power-transmission line and the signal transmission line is calculated. CONSTITUTION:The titled apparatus is equipped with a modulator 6 for transmitting the reference pulse from a key station apparatus M to a sub-station apparatus S through a power- transmission line L, a modulator 9 for transmitting the reference pulse regenerated by the sub- station S to the key station M and a counter 13 for measuring transmission delay times of reference pulses between both stations from the phase difference of the sent-out reference pulse and the reference pulse transmitted from the sub-station S. To the key station M, a counter 3 for measuring the difference of reference pulse and the receiving time of accident surge induced through a connecting apparatus 1 connected to the power-transmission line L is provided while a counter 11 for measuring the difference of the received reference pulse and an accident surge receiving time induced through a connecting apparatus 2 connected to the power-transmission line L is provided to the sub-station S' and an accurate located distance to an accident point from the key station or the sub-station S' and an accurate located distance to an accident point from the key station or the sub-station is further calculated from the relation of these values and the length L of the power-transmission line in the key station. |
