PURPOSE:To prevent the extinguishing of an arc in a discharge gap by providing discharge elecrodes via resistors for suppressing a discharging current in parallel with a waveform adjusting capacitor, thereby generating a discharge at the discharging electrodes initially at the start of the discharge of the capacitor. CONSTITUTION:Discharging electrodes G are connected via a resistor R0 for suppressing a discharging current in parallel with a waveform adjusting capacitor C0. The capacitor C0 is charged by the discharges of capacitors C11, C12- Cn1, Cn2, and after the capacitor is charged to the highest voltage, the respective capacitors are discharged via discharging resistors R1-Rn, and discharging bulbs. After the voltage of the capacitor C0 reaches the highest charging voltage in the charging step, the electrodes G are discharged with a time delay. When the electrodes G are flashed, the discharging currents of the respective capacitors are flowed via the discharging gap due to discharging bulb and the electrodes G. The capacitor C0 is discharged via the electrodes G. |
