PURPOSE:To prevent iron serving as the raw material of each component from being ionized and corroded by the flowing water by a method wherein the surface of each component of a hydraulic machine making contact with the flowing water is provided with a plurality of dummy electrodes made of high ionization metal. CONSTITUTION:A hydraulic machinery is constructed such that a runner 4 is directly connected to the lower end of a main shaft 1 by bolts 2 via key 3, a runner cone 5 is fixed to the end of the hub 4a, and covers 6 and 7 are arranged above and below the runner cone to form a runner chamber 8. The circumferential side of the runner chamber 8 is communicated with the casing through a passage 10 which is formed by the upper and lower covers 6 and 7 and a speed ring 9. In the passage 10 are arranged the guide vane 12 and the stationary vane 13. In this case, a plurality of dummy electrodes 14 are arranged on the surface of each of the component 1 to 13 making contact with the flowing water to prevent the iron serving as the raw material each component 1 to 13 from being ionized and corroded by the flowing water. |
