PURPOSE:To provide the titled mold improved to eliminate the necessity for fixing a hollow core by means of a fixing pin, by inserting into both end parts of the hollow core the respective inner ends of stoppers projected into the cavity from a pair of jigs installed between upper and lower mold halves. CONSTITUTION:A pair of jigs 2, 2 are disposed on a lower mold 1, and an upper 3 is placed on the lower mold 1 to define a cavity 4 therebetween. Projected stoppers 5 are attached which can be projected into the cavity 4 from the opposing surfaces of both the jigs 2, 2, respectively. The inner ends of the projected stoppers 5 are inserted into both ends of a hollow core 7 for a molded article 6 disposed within the cavity 4, respectively. The projected stoppers 5 can serve as stoppers for the hollow core 7 as well as retain the hollow core 7 within the cavity 4. |
