PURPOSE:To improve the work efficiency, by forming a character input device and a proofreading device in one body, which are used for editing a sentence for a newspaper and a magazine, and also providing a changeover switch of an input of a correcting character in case of proofreading, and an input of a correcting position. CONSTITUTION:When inputting an original character, a character input mode key is selected. The character inputted by use of a pen is stored in the first FD 42 through a control part 5 and a CPU 40. Also, in case of proofreading, the contents of the first FD are outputted by the same format as a cross on the cover of an original case 10, they are aligned with the cross and are pinched by the case 10, and the case is placed on the lower left part (both use area 6B) of a tablet 3. In this case, a detecting switch 30 attached to a frame body 7 is turned on, and when the cross is designated with a pen, a correcting position input signal is generated. Unless the case 10 is placed in the both use area 6B (the switch 30 is off), the character displayed on the both use area 6B part can be inputted. |
