PURPOSE:To obtain sufficient holding force of torque and to increase heat resistance, by preparing a coating layer of a metallic plate surface from a mixture material containing compressive fiber and rubber and preventing lateral dislocation of said coating layer. CONSTITUTION:Because rubber compressive fiber layers 3 are coated to a metallic plate 2, small rigidity in a joint face or large tightening force of a bolt in a flange or the like never causes the layer 3 to exceed a compressive elastic limit to be laterally dislocated even if large stress is concentrated to the peripheral part of a bolt hole 6. Further a small thickness of the rubber/compressive fiber layer 3 obtains sufficient holding force of torque. Still further a temperature limit of heat resistance can be increased and a gasket can be used even under an environment at high temperature. |
