PURPOSE:To prevent the erroneous recognition of starting operating condition for normal operating condition by a method wherein the change of airflow angle as well as the indication of the same at a blow-off port are stopped upon initiating room heating operation in the air conditioner, in which the airflow angle at the blow-off port is changed while being operated. CONSTITUTION:When the temperature of a heat exchanger is low upon initiating the room heating operation (hereinafter referred as hot starting), a thermostat 1 is put OFF, an indoor fan motor 2 as well as a blow-off port airflow angle changing motor 3 are not rotated, a blow-off port airflow angle indicating lamp 4 is also put OFF, an airflow angle changing vane 13 is fixed at a given position and a lamp for a blow-off port airflow angle indicating device 14 is also put OFF. When a compressor 5 is operated and the temperature of the indoor heat exchanger has increased, the thermostat 1 is put ON, the motors 2, 3 begin the operation, the lamp 4 is put ON and the operation of the system is brought into a normal room heating operation mode. Thus, a condition, in which the blow-off of cool airflow is avoided upon the hot starting, is indicated and whereby the operating conditions under the normal operating state and the hot starting may be discriminated. |
