PURPOSE:To obtain always a good image, by providing a regulation plate which regulates the amt. of the developer to be held on the sleeve of a developing roll, and rotating the sleeve to convey the developer to a developing region. CONSTITUTION:A developing device is provided with a developing roll constituted of a cylindrical sleeve 1 of a non-magnetic body and a magnet roll 2 which is provided freely rotatably in the sleeve 1, and has the magnetic poles magnetized successively differently except a part thereof on the outside circumference. A one- component magnetic toner 3 which is held on the sleeve 1 by the magnet of the roll 2 and a photosensitive drum 4 which is rotated in an arrow direction, is positioned via the sleeve 1 and the layer of the toner 3, and on which an electrostatically charged latent image is formed are provided. The toner 3 is contained in a hopper 5 for replenishing, flows on a sloped plate 9 having a slope of an angle R provided in the opening 8 in the lower part of the hopper 5 and is supplied successively onto the sleeve 1 by the magnet of the roll 2. |
