PURPOSE:To suppress the increase in the viscosity of a fixing material which fixes a magnetic core to a case and to improve the castability of the fixing material by adding at least an org. lubricant and a reactive diluent into the fixing material. CONSTITUTION:At least 1 kinds among the so-called metallic soaps [(RCOO)nM] consisting of metallic salts (Na, Ca, Mg, Ba, Li, Al, Zn, Fe, Cu, Pb, Sn salts) of higher fatty acids such as, for example, stearic acid, oleic acid, palmitic acid or the like are used as an org. lubricant in a fixing material consisting essentially of an epoxy resin, hardener, filler, and org. lubricant. Since a reactive diluent is a compd. of a low mol. wt. having at least one epoxy group in a molecule, the same can be cured by a hardener as well as an epoxy resin; therefore, the hardener needs be increased in amt. from the epoxy equiv. as much as the reactive diluent is added. Thus, the chief material contg. the reactive diluent and the hardener increased in amt. by as much as needed for curing the reactive diluent are used by mixing in casting to a magnetic head; therefore, the other components except the filler increase as a whole of the fixing agent, thus resulting in the lower viscosity and easier casting operation. |
