Writing ink contains (I) 20-80 (wt.%) solvent, (II) max. 30% soluble resin and (III) dissolved or dispersed colorant. (III) comprises (a) 3-60% pigment in which the particle size with the highest frequency is min. 0.5 (min. 2) microns and (b) 0.1-20% dyestuff of pigment of a different colour, the pigment particles being smaller than those of (a) and having a highest size frequency of max. 1 micron. (I) is a mix. of water and watersoluble organic solvent(s), pref. alicyclic, carboxylates, aliphatic alcohols and ethylene glycol monoalkyl ethers. (IIIa) is a metal powder, inorganic or organic pigment. |
