PURPOSE:To trim a carpet to an automobile floor with a good fit, by modling the carpet applied or laminated with the resin having a heat moldability on its back and sticking a foamable urethane to its back in a proper and various thickness by injection foaming method. CONSTITUTION:A resin is stuck to the back of the carpet such as a tufted carpet, etc. and it is heated in a heating oven, being pressed between the molds, thus the surface layer of the molded carpet is shaped. Then, a product is obtained by fixing said molded carpet in a polyurethane injection foaming mold, injecting a polyurethane foaming resin and performing a foaming and crosslinking reaction. The injection foaming mold has the structure which has the top face of a cavity drilled with many deaerating holes 11 and the bottom face shaped after an automobile floor and molding the back shape of the carpet and treated with a Teflon working, etc. for a mold release, also drilled with a cast foaming hole 21 and holds a desired clearance and is capable to be closed at its periphery. |
