PURPOSE:To provide a compsn. which has a high vulcanization rate and gives covulcanizates having excellent resistance to thermal aging and compression set, by incorporating a specified vulcanizing agent in a rubber blend of an epichlorohydrin polymer rubber with a halogen-contg. acrylic rubber. CONSTITUTION:0.1-10pts.wt. 2,3-dimercaptohydrazine, 2,3-dimercaptoquinoxaline or derivative thereof and 0.1-50pts.wt. metallic compd. serving as an acid acceptor are blended with 100pts.wt. rubber blend of 40-99wt% epichlorohydrin polymer rubber with 1-60wt% halogen-contg. acrylic rubber. Examples of the epichlorohydrin polymer rubbers include epichlorohydrin homopolymer and copolymer rubbers thereof with other epoxides. |
