In these output systems, digitally stored texts are output in analog form. The circuit arrangement contains an input/output device (1) which is connected via a circuit (2) to a memory (3) which is followed by a parallel/serial converter (4). A digital/analog converter (5) is connected to the parallel/serial converter (4). The output of the digital/analog converter (5) is connected to the input/output device (1) via a line (13). The output lines of the memory (13) are also connected to a comparator (7) from which two output lines (9 and 10) lead to an up/down counter (8), the output line (11) of which is connected, on the one hand, to the input side of the memory (3) and, on the other hand, to the input/output device (1). A line (12) leads from the output side of the memory (3) to the input side of the comparator (7). Clock pulses are supplied via a line (6) to the memory (3), the parallel/serial converter (4), the digital/analog converter (5), the comparator (7) and the counter (8). <IMAGE>
