The invention relates to a furniture castor with a spring-loaded pivot lever which is mounted by means of a bearing bolt in a bearing eye of the castor housing. In order to reduce the material expense and effort of assembly, the invention provides for the bearing bolt to be provided with a flattened portion and integrally moulded on the pivot lever, for the bearing eye of the castor housing to be provided with an entry slit and for the entry slit and the bearing bolt with the flattened portion to be so designed that the bearing bolt of the pivot lever, in an entry position other than the working position, can be introduced into the bearing eye of the castor housing and, by being pivoted into the working position, can be permanently retained therein and mounted to be capable of limited rotation.
