PURPOSE:To improve the operating efficiency of the titled checking device by comparing an input command character string with the group of commands registered to a command memory part if said character string is incomplete and estimating an input command to make an operator select it. CONSTITUTION:A command input device consists of a microprocessor 1, a keyboard 2, a ROM 3, a RAM 4, a display device CRT10, a CRT control circuit 7, a refresh memory 8, a disk memory device 12, etc. If an error is detected with the command format when an operator supplies an optional command by operation of a key, a routine is carried out to estimate the corresponding command. Then the estimated command is displayed on the CRT10 and the operator judges whether said command is equal to a desired one or not for selection of commands. Thus it is possible to obtain a correct command with estimation despite an input error of commands. This omits the second input.
