<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the influence of a vortex and prevent variation in detected value, and to improve control precision, by extending the intake of a by-pass passage to the center part of a suction passage and making an opening at right angles to a suction direction. CONSTITUTION:A venturi body 23 is connected to a throttle chamber 21 equipped with a throttle valve 20 and an air chamber 24 is jointed thereupon to form a suction air passage 25. The by-pass passage 31 is formed in the faying surface between the body 23 and chamber 24 and a hot wire 33 is arranged near the outlet 32. The intake 35 of the by-pass passage 31 is extended to the center part and has an opening in the side wall surface of an upper injector retainer 29 at right angles to the suction direction. Therefore, even when a vortex 37 is generated as the quantity of suction air increases, the intake 35 is not under its influence, so the detected value of a flow meter does not vary to improve the control precision of the amount of injection.</p> |
