PURPOSE:To attain multiple address communication not by the software protocol by converting forcibly a destination address of an inputted signal into a multiple address read from a storage means and sending the converted address into a high-order repeater. CONSTITUTION:When an input signal is given to lines I-l I-n from a terminal equipment connected to a repeater, the signal is inputted respectively to a multiplexer MUX 7, an address setting circuit ADR 3 and a timing circuit TIM 5 via an OR gate 10. When the start timing of a destination address DA reaches, a signal from the TIM 5 is given to the ADR 3 and the MUX 7, and when they are started, all '1' is outputted. That is, the inputted value is neglected, 6-byte of all 'l' set to the ADR 3 is outputted as the content of the address DA independently of the inputted value, sent to the output OH via the MUX 7,8,9 and sent to the high-order repeater.
