PURPOSE:To shorten the time of building for steel sheet piles by using a system in which one coupler of the first steel sheet pile is attracted by an electromagnet and controllably moved vertically in such a way as to lap it on the second steel sheet pile. CONSTITUTION:A builder body 1 for a steel sheet pile Y placed on rails 2a and 2b is vertically moved in the directions of A and B by motors 3a and 3b for running purpose, and a hanging part 6 provided to a trolley 4 at the center of the body 1 is vertically moved in the directions of C and D by a motor 7 for winding purpose. Then, electromagnets 13a, 13e are provided to the beam 10 at the lower part of the hanging part 6 and moved in the directions of E and F by a motor-driven cylinder 12. In controlling the motors 3 and 7 and the cylinder 12 at the position of the sheet pile Y, when the delivery of the sheet pile Y to a given position is detected, the hanging pat 6 is lowered, the other coupler of the sheet pile Y1 is attracted by the magnet 13 to lift up, and the coupler is fed to the position of the sheet pile Y2 and turned in contact with its contactor. Then, the sheet pile Y1 is overlapped on the sheet pile Y2. |
