A device for producing wet screed ready for working, having a storage container and a conveying and metering device for dry screed, a water supply and a conveying and mixing container for the wet screed, is described, the throughput of which it has been possible to increase compared with that of the main patent (Patent Application P 3131330.2). For this purpose, dry screed and water are first introduced, whilst the wet screed is being worked, in each case into a pre-metering container, from which they are then directly discharged into the conveying and mixing container. As a result, the conveying time, in particular of the dry screed, is substantially reduced. For further reduction in the cycle time, the shut-off device between the pre-metering container for dry screed and the conveying and mixing container is constructed as a throttle valve. Furthermore, in devices operating with compressed air, a quick-venting valve, via which the residual conveying pressure can be rapidly reduced before refilling, is provided on the container.
