Tube conveyor having at least one continuous guide rail, two guide rails in at least one feeding section and at least one emptying section, roller carriages guided at a distance from one another in the guide rails, on which carriages the conveyor belt is hung with connecting elements. The roller carriages are on the one hand coupled to a traction means and on the other hand connected in a staggered manner to the two conveyor belt sides. The conveyor belt has incisions in side-wall areas of its tubular form, which incisions are closed by a covering. By means of the incisions, the conveyor belt is adjusted to the extension of the traction means by changing its length and set for travel around curves. It can be subdivided by the incisions into conveyor belt sections, which are connected to each other by a covering area, the covering areas extending diagonally from one roller carriage to the diagonally opposite roller carriage on the other side of the conveyor belt. <IMAGE>
