<p>PURPOSE:To improve the turbine efficiency extending from low velocity revolution to high velocity revolution and contrive the improving of supercharging effect of the titled supercharger by a method wherein the winding end part of the turbine case of an exchaust gas turbine type supercharger provided with a movable blade is gradually narrowed down toward the central side in radial direction, also a movable blade is shortened. CONSTITUTION:A movable ring 12 connected with a control rod 14 and a movable blade 11, one end of which is connectingly supported by a guide groove 13 of the movable ring are arranged inside of a turbine case 3 of an exhaust gas turbine type supercharger. A turbine case winding end part 15 is narrowed down toward the central side in radial direction with the amount of variation larger than the involute curve, then the length of blades 11a, 11b for the scroll winding angle is shortened according to the amount of narraowing down of said winding end part 15. At the low velocity revolution of an engine, the movable blade angle is maximized, and the clearance between the most external part of the blade 11a and the scroll winding end part 15 are minimized. By preventing the winding starting part A from the gas flowing inside of the scroll, the flow of the discharging gas is controlled smoothly, accordingly, the efficiency of the turbine is improved.</p> |
