This invention relates to a movable track-treating machine for treating bed ballast and edgeways, clearing the ballast under the track and a device for delivering and in particular for filling the ballast in the silo into the regions between the sleepers and in front of the sleeper ends, milling off the edgeways and taking up ballast. The ballast take-up device is also at the same time usable as edgeway lowering device. The ballast take-up or the edgeway lowering takes place by means of two milling tools which are arranged at the side of the machine and adjustable independently of one another. The track lowering device consists of two scraper chains which are arranged at the side of the machine and adjustable in height and side independently of one another. The bed ballast is conveyed by means of a conveyor belt (ballast take-up device) into the ballast silo or on a conveyor road. The ballast silo is equipped with a ballast dispensing device. The outlet openings are arranged in such a manner that the sleeper gaps between and outside the rails and in front of the sleeper heads can be filled with ballast. The filling quantities are regulated by a control device.
