The invention relates to a device for replenishing oil in internal combustion engines for the purpose of avoiding damage, in which a pressurised or pressurisable oil reservoir has an oil delivery line opening into the engine housing, via which the oil supply in the oil reservoir can be transferred at emergency speed into the engine housing by means of a switching device actuable from the dashboard of the vehicle.
