PURPOSE:To realize a long life of a cleaning unit for a fixing roller, by forming the cleaning unit by a felt roller system, and also, forming it by a mechanism for rotating quantity and supplying a cleaning oil little by little. CONSTITUTION:A lever 18d is provided so as to be freely turnable centering around a supporting point P of the left end, and when it has been pushed up by a cam 18c, it pushes up and compresses an oil container 18e which has been attached to a fixed frame 20. The oil container 18e contains oil for cleaning, compressed a little by pressing the lever 18d against it and a very small quantity of oil is dripped down. This oil supply quantity is controlled by the guide surface of the cam 18c and the rotating speed, and oil in the oil container 18e is set so that it becomes empty by about one rotation of the cam 18c. |
