PURPOSE:To receive facsimile information and character information altogether by adding a character font memory and a support program specified by a teletex to a facsimile equipment group 4 class I machine. CONSTITUTION:A data received from a line enters a main control section 1 and only the character information is given to a code memory 6 through a line control section 3 applying call difference control depending on each network, a network, a link and a communication control section 2 applying the control of each layer. The character data in the code memory 6 is given in a character font memory 11 in the unit of codes and expanded into a line memory 10 through a code/decode section 5. In expanding the character information by one page in the line memory 10, the main control section 1 starts a printer 9 for printing.
