The unit comprises a housing closely surrounding the disc whose circumferentially spaced openings have a dia. slightly smaller than the mean dia. of the seeds. Vacuum applied to one side of the disc locates the seeds at the openings, excessive seeds being removed by an adjustable wiper. Individual seeds are then discharged by interrupting the vacuum in another position of the disc. - The empty openings are cleaned by air pressure before reaching the seed take-up position. The disc and possibly the housing end cover may be interchangeable to accommodate different seed diameters. Cam projections on the disc operate a seed stirrer.FL(0/5)
