The incoming refuse is first sterilised and is then concentrated and induced by conveyor into a steel mould. The refuse is compressed into a solid block using a continuous high pressure compressor or other type compressor and finally the refuse is sealed so as to form an air tight sterile block. - The blocks can be used either as a road base material or as a fill when building houses or it can be used for building dams or dykes.
