PURPOSE:To equalize the starting increment and ending increment of each feeder fan and exhaust fan and enable accurate starting/stopping of air stream generation by providing a plurality of opposed feeder room and exhaust room in a zone-divided booth. CONSTITUTION:When an object to be painted 5 is painted in a coating booth 3 and a feed amount is increased by a plurality of feeder fans 7a, 7b which make a single group, the starting increment of each feeder fan 7a, 7b is equalized and this condition is maintained. Further, when the exhaust amount of a plurality of exhaust fans 9a, 9b which make a single group is increased, the starting increment of each exhaust fan 9a, 9b is equalized and this condition is maintained. Likewise, the ending increments of each feed fan 7a, 7b and exhaust fan 9a, 9b are equalized even when the feed amount and exhaust amount decrease. Consequently, no interference of an air flow between each zone 11a, 11b exists, and a start and stop operation takes place sequentially by zone.
