PURPOSE:To attain private line camp-on without using a common line signal system by providing a camp-on memory to a storage device of a central controller and storing required information in the camp-on memory when an incoming extension is busy and a caller extension applies a prescribed operation in case of private line incoming call. CONSTITUTION:In hooking on of an extension STA-A of a caller side exchange PBX-A after listening to a busy tone, an extension number of the extension STA-A is sent from a sender SND to a reception side exchange PBX-B. A dial data is transferred to a storage device MEM via a central processing unit CPU and stored in the camp-on memory CMPM. Simultaneously, the accommodated location information of the STA-B and the private line trunk information are stored. When the extension STA-B of the reception side exchange PBX-B is idle, a root data of the private line trunk is read from the private line camp-on memory CMPM corresponding to the extension STA-B to acquire the corresponding private line trunks 3, 4.
