The invention relates to a tamper-proof closure having a screw cap, to which a collar is assigned which is located in front of the thread, and having a ring which is arranged on the inside of the collar, is connected to the screw cap via a perforation and engages with elastic yielding behind an annular shoulder of a container neck, whose holding force tears the perforation when the screw cap is unscrewed. To optimise the constructional shape, it is proposed that the ring (8) has an intended circumferential bending line (UL), over which an outer portion (b) of the ring (8) folds into a barb-type engagement position below the annular shoulder (9') whilst supporting at least the region, facing the intended circumferential bending line, of the inner portion (a) on the apron-type collar. <IMAGE>
