PURPOSE:To drastically shorten the processes by blast-treating a treated article by using the abrasive grains consisting of the frozen minute particles which are formed from the aqueous solution of acid, alkali, of salt which possesses the degreasing or etching action. CONSTITUTION:The aqueous solution of acid, alkali, or salt which possesses the degreasing or etching action is jetted into the body 2 of a minute particle generator from a tank 1 through a pump 6 and a sprayer 3, and formed into the frozen minute particle by the coolant liquid supplied from a feeding conduit 10 through heat exchangers 11 and 12, and stored in a hopper 8 by a screw conveyor 4. Then, the frozen minute particles are blasted onto a treated article 16 by a blasting gun 9, and surface treatment is performed. The frozen minute particle after surface treatment is melted and stored in a treating chamber 15, and allowed to circulate through a pump 18 and a filter 19. Therefore, the degreasing process and etching process can be omitted, and the need of the abrasive grain removing process can be omitted.
