A railway bogie comprises two side frames and a bolster (10) having at each end two sets of inner (16, 24) and outer (18, 26) bolster gibs. Each set of gibs forms a pocket on the bolster to receive a respective side frame column (12, 14). The clearance between the side frame column and the inner bolster gib is equal to or greater than the clearance between the side frame column and the outer bolster gib. The inner clearance may be 1.27 cm and the outer clearance 0.95 cm. <IMAGE> |
