PURPOSE:To ensure easy and accurate discrimination between an inside and an outside and at the same time to decrease the scan processing time, by obtaining a closed region with the segments set along an axis X to recognize the inside of the closed region. CONSTITUTION:A memory 7 stores the picture information to change a tomogram of a specimen into an image in response to the data given to an X-ray detector or a CPU5. A memory 8 stores the graphic information fed from a keyboard 6. The contents of the memories 7 and 8 are superposed on each other and projected on a display 10. At the same time, the CPU5 obtains and recognizes the data corresponding to the part enclosed by a closed pattern with the segments set along an axis X and then reads out the closed region. Then the CPU5 performs a proper operation to deliver the average CT value within the closed pattern for instance. |
