PURPOSE:To keep the form of the inner peripheral portion of a toilet paper roll by clearly making angles after the angles of the outer periphery of a reel shaft on the inner peripheral portion of a slightly moist toilet paper roll in case of manufacturing a coreless toilet paper roll. CONSTITUTION:A toilet paper 4 is rolled round a reel shaft 2 which is polygonal or gear-like sectional shape. At this time, water is sprayed to the rolling start end of the toilet paper 4 from a nozzle 5 to be moist, so that the inner peripheral portion 6' of a rolled paper layer 6 is damped, and angles 6a are formed on the inner peripheral portion 6' of the rolled paper layer 6 simulating to polygonal or gear-like angles 2' of the reel shaft 2. When the reel shaft 2 is pulled out after the completion of rolling, the angles 6a are left on the inner peripheral portion 6' of the rolled paper layer 6 substantially as they are, and adjacent intervals 6b between the angles 6a are swelled inwards to keep the inner peripheral form. |
