PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform automatic correction of alignment of registration marks and picture pattern by such an arrangement wherein sheets of printing plate material on which registration marks are formed are procured by the number of color, and marks are inscribed based on the registration marks by a marking-off device, and ordinary film plates are printed and automatic adjustment of registration is carried out on a press based on registration marks. CONSTITUTION:In printing an original film plate prepared in the stage of platemaking on a printing plate, marking-off lines are inscribed based on registration marks to be used for registration on a press in the stage of inscribing marking- off lines necessary for positioning, and for a rotary press, color registration marks are inscribed based on registration marks on the photographically printed printing plate, and the registration of the plate after it was mounted on a press is carried out based on registration marks, and registration between colors while a rotary press is in operation is carried out based on color registration marks. |
