PURPOSE:To suppress variation of laser output to be generated during the peirod from starting action of laser up to reach the state when the oscillator is thermally saturated by a method wherein a spacer of material quality having the different thermal expansion coefficient is interposed between a part of a rod having the low expansion coefficient. CONSTITUTION:The invar rods 1', 1'' of two pieces at the lower part and the Al spacer 8 having the different thermal expansion coefficient are integrated in one body by screws. The difference of the shrinkage quantities according to that the drop in temperature of the upper rod is larger than the lower rod is negated by the large shrinkage quantity of the Al spacer, and discrepancy of the relative angles of a pair of mirrors regulated to the most suitable condition is pressed to the lowest. According to this construction, variation of output at laser rise time, variation of the baem position can be suppressed by an inexpensive and easy method. |
