PURPOSE:To detect a correct advancing bearing of a vehicle by calibrating the bearing detecting disturbace of earth magnetism due to the proper magnetic field thereof. CONSTITUTION:When a calibration switch 6 is turned ON, a microcomputer contained in a control circuit 4 starts the execution of a program for calibration and turns on a lamp 5. The vehicle is turned in a circle during the calibration and a constant of a correction equation is memorized. After the calibration, the bearing is calculated free from effect of magnetization of the vehicle from the output of a bearing detector 1 and displayed 3. |
