PROCESS FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF POLYURETHANE-COATED PRODUCTS

A process for manufacturing polyurethane-coated products is disclosed. Polyurethane-coated products are manufactured by press-forming a metal substrate coated with a lubricant inclusive of a compound having an oxygen-hydrogen bond into a core member of a desired shape and covering desired portions of the core member with polyurethane foam or a coating formed by reacting the oxygen-hydrogen bond containing compound with an isocyanate of the polyurethane forming material without degreasing steps, such as pretreatments for washing out the lubricant.
