PURPOSE:To transmit the driving force in a contactless manner and to prevent wear and tear at the parts for transmitting the driving force, by fixing circumferentially magnetized magnets having different diameters respectively to one ends of a drive shaft and a driven shaft, and disposing one magnet on the inside of the other. CONSTITUTION:Circumferentially magnetized magnets 9, 10 having different diameters are fixed respectively to one ends of a drive shaft 1 and a driven shaft 2, and the magnet 10 fixed to the driven shaft 2 is disposed on the inside of the magnet 9 fixed to the drive shaft 1. These two magnets 9, 10 are disposed with a proper clearance from each other and in the manner that they face toward each other at the position of opposite polarities. In this state, the shafts 1, 2 are mounted on fixed bearings 6. With such an arrangement, the driven magnet 10 can be turned along with the rotation of the drive magnet 9 and the driving force can be transmitted from the drive shaft 1 to the driven shaft 2 in a contactless manner by the magnetic force. Therefore, it is enabled to prevent wear and tear at the parts for transmitting the driving force and to protect the magnet portions against damages in case that the driven shaft 2 is locked. |
