PURPOSE:To simplify a picture reproducing system, by switching respective outputs of plural reproducing heads in the one-field period of a picture signal and generating a time-series signal, and providing a single-system demodulator for demodulating the time-series signal. CONSTITUTION:The reproducing heads H1, H2-Hk are at radially different positions of a magnetic sheet and at the same angle position in the circumferential direction. Then, those reproducing heads are arranged at track positions of a picture that a user desires to reproduce. The outputs of the respective reproducing heads are amplified by preamplifiers A1, A2-Ak, and switched by a signal switching controller 2 to generate a time-series signal. The time-series signal is demodulated by the single-system demodulator 4, whose output is processed by a dropout compensator 5; while the 1st field is interlaced at it is, the 2nd field is interlaced through a 1/2 delay circuit 6, namely, the same signal is reproduced each twice to form a one-frame picture. |
