PURPOSE:To reduce the fatigue of an operator and at the same time to shorten the time for selection of homophones, by displaying with a switch the homonym (homophone) added with their using frequencies in a dictionary within the limit of the simultaneous display number. CONSTITUTION:For instance, KANA (Japanese syllabary) letters ''KAKU'' is fed through an input device. Then the using frequency information added to the homophones is delivered simultaneously with Chinese characters. The Chinese character codes are delivered to a display through a gate circuit. At the same time, the frequency infomation is suplied to an adder and added for each Chinese character codes. Here the 1st, 2nd and 3rd thereshold values of the frequency information are set at 80, 10 and 10 respectively together with the limit number of simultaneous display numbers set at 9. Under such conditions, the total output of the adder is compared with the set value 80 through a comparator. Then the gate circuit is closed at a time point when the output of the comparator reaches 80. Thus the transmission is stopped for the chinese character codes to the display. Hereafter the same operation is carried out to give a display to the display after setting the value at 10. In addition, the same operation is repeated with the set value 10. |
