PURPOSE:To obtain a cassette paper supply mechanism having a function that even when a selection plate is erroneously closed after the operation of a feed roller during automatic paper supply period, the selection plate can be easily opened manually and the positions of both opening and closing of the selection plate can be exactly maintained because of the presence of a specific selection plate opening-closing mechanism. CONSTITUTION:When automatic paper supply is made under the condition that a selection plate 20 is in a closing position B, a feed roller 7 is driven toward the direction of paper supply by a feed roller shaft 29 and then reversely turned by about 1/2, whereupon a rejecting plate 30 is counterclockwise turned through a disc 29 and a tension spring 33 with the interposition of an one-way clutch 27. A pin 23 provided at the tip of the lever 22 of the selection plate 20 is pushed downward by the other rejecting projection 30a and the selection plate 20 is clockwise turned around the shaft 21. Thus, the reverse turning of the feed roller 7 can be prevented by the one-way clutch 28. |
