PURPOSE:To increase the quantity of radiation per unit detecting element and to improve the S/N ratio, by using a slip-shaped detecting element in order to increase the quantity of radiation that is made incident to the unit detecting elements forming a detector and then decreasing the number of divisions of a screen. CONSTITUTION:The image of a object radiation image source 1 is projected on a radiation detector 4 stored in a camera assembly 5 via a slit 2 of a slit plate 52 provided in front of the assembly 5. The detector 4 contains numbers of slip- shaped radiation detecting elements which are set in parallel to the slit 2 and is fixed to a support face 51 of the detector 4 which is set at the rear side of the assembly 5. Thus the detector 4 can turn together with the slit 2. The output signal of each detecting element of the detector 4 is stored with each rotating position of the detector 4. Then the quantity of radiation is calculated from the stored signal for the picture element related to the detecting element. Thus the image of the source 1 is reconstituted. |
